What are the benefits of drinking green juice every day?
Green juice has become a popular health trend in recent years, and for good reason. This nutrient-rich drink is made from a blend of green vegetables, including kale, spinach, and parsley. It’s also packed with vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin C, iron, and calcium.
Drinking green juice every day can have a number of benefits for your health. The carotenoids (1) in green juice (from the green leafy veggies) can boost your immune system, as well as the vitamin C content from the fruits used to make it.
Since green juice contains fiber (especially if you make it in a blender instead of a juicer), this can help improve your digestion, and promote your gut health.
It’s also a great way to get your daily dose of fruits and vegetables. Federal guidelines recommend we eat 1 1/2-2 cups fruits and 2-3 cups of vegetables daily. This green goddess juice recipe includes around 2 servings of veggies and 2 serving of fruit in just 1 glass!
So if you’re looking for a healthy way to start your day, green juice is a great option. Cheers to green goddesses everywhere!

This green goddess juice recipe is simple, delicious, and so easy to make. The best part is that this recipe is easily customizable – so feel free to add in your favorite green veggies or fruits. And if you’re looking for a little extra boost of flavor, try adding a mint leaf or two.
You’ll need a high speed blender to get a smooth green juice. I use my trusty NutriBullet and I love it! Also, make sure to check out this post that compares all the best blenders for juicing greens to help you decide which one is right for you!
Here’s how to make green goddess juice in your blender:
- Peel, core and slice the apple, and peel and slice the cucumber as well.
- Add the spinach, cucumber and celery to your blender.

- Finally, blend everything until it’s smooth and enjoy!
If you find that your blender green juice is too pulpy, you can strain it using a nut milk bag, like the one below:
How to store green goddess juice
Green goddess juice can last in the fridge for up to 3 days. However, it’s best to drink straight away, since the nutrients (like vitamin C) start oxidizing quickly (2).
Store the in an airtight container or jar and consume within that timeframe. If you want it to last longer, green goddess juice can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. Simply pour it into an ice cube tray or freezer-safe container, and enjoy a refreshing glass of green goddess juice whenever you need it.
